The Fanuc M-16iB offers the same sophisticated motion control and high productivity as the M-16i arm, with the added benefits of the advanced RJ3iB controller. This controller has the increased processing speed, memory, I/O and communication processor enhancements over the previous R-J3 controller.
Gantry Robots: Fanuc M-16iB/20T and M-16iB/10LT
The Fanuc M-16iB/20T is an overhead-mounted version of the M-16iB that is available with either an underslung or sideslung configuration. It can accommodate a 20 kg payload and is an ideal solution for the machine tool, plastics and die casting industries as it offers high-speed operation and a maximum reach of 1,730mm.
The underslung configuration of the Fanuc M-16iBT suspends the robot arm underneath the rail structure and offers a symmetrical work envelope on both sides of the rail, while the sideslung configuration suspends the robot arm off the side of the rail structure and allows for maximum vertical reach and maximum stroke. The sideslung configuration is the only viable configuration when using a Toploader robot to tend a press such as an injection molding or die-cast machine. The M-16iB/20T and M-16iB/10LT robots are ideal for light to medium material handling challenges.
