Operation Manual (Advanced Function) 3-23 3-13 Tracing operatio n without moving robot < Outline > With the trace operation in teaching mode, it is possible to perform trace operation without
actually moving the robot. This function is useful to change a teaching point to have the same
position data as the other teaching point. < Operation procedure >
(1)   In trace operation, turn on TEACH ENABLE. (2)   Hold down the ROBOT LOCK R.LOCK
BRIGHT Bright RBT LOCK key and press the TRACE - VOLT TRACE VOLT TRACE Back- ward For-
ward key. ｮ Then step Nos. are displayed one by one without moving the robot. < Example application >    Apply the same position data of the step 1 to the last teaching point. (1)   In trace operation, turn on TEACH ENABLE.
(2)   Move to “Step 1” with trace operation. (3)   Hold down the ROBOT LOCK R.LOCK
BRIGHT Bright RBT LOCK key and press the TRACE - VOLT TRACE VOLT TRACE Back- ward For-
ward key, and trace to the last teaching point. ｮ Check the first line of the screen for the current step No. (4)   Press the STORE WELD
STORE STORE key.
