Coordinate System and its Teaching Procedure 5-6 5-3 Cylindrical shift < Outline > A function to shift position of a program cylindrically.
Move the robot on a given teaching point to a desired position of the point to be shifted to
specify a shift value.
< Remarks > ! Actual shifted teaching points in operation may not be exactly the same
position as those in teaching operation.  Perform trace operation to check
actual robot position after the RT shift without fail.
! If  a  message  “For  memory  or  prg.  Over,  can’t  restored,  when  err.”
appears and if the cause of the error is the position conversion, it is not
possible to resume the original position data (data before the shift).
