Useful Functions (1) 7-30 7-20 External memory < Outline > A function which is used to save created jobs, programs, libraries and initial on a media, such as a
floppy disk or hard disk, using a personal computer.
This function is also used to retrive the stored data in the robot or to compare the stored data with
the one in the robot. To use this function, it is necessary to perchase an “External memory PC software (YA-1APCM1)”
(or PC floppy unit (YA-1APCF1)) separately. It may be necessary to perform settng on the robot side depending on the operation system
(OS) of the applied PC softwared. (Refer to the operation manual of the external memory unit
for the details.) < Setting procedure > (1) From the initial screen, select “Init.set” and “Advanced function” . о The screen on the right appears. (2) Use “Page next” or “Page back” to display the screen indicating “Ext.memory” menu. о See the screen on the right. File recover ( Yes No ) Ext.memory ( DOS WIN) Chg.to user-IN ( Yes No ) Chg.to user-OUT ( Yes No ) Smoothing ( Yes No )
Page next Page back SET-UP Init.set:Advanced function 5/6 (3) Select “SET-UP” . о The cursor appears. (4) Move the cursor to “WIN” or “DOS” of “Ext.memory” and press the ENTER “enter” key. (Select “DOS” if “PC floppy unit (YA-1APCF1)” is applied.) (5) Press the END “end” key several times until the initial screen appears. < Save, playback and check > From the initial screen, select “Ext.memory”. Refer to the operation manual of the external
