− 1−2 − 1-2. Important Safety Items Warning Observe  the  following  cautions  to  prevent  accidents  that  can
cause serious injuries.
1. The robot was designed and manufactured with sufficient consideration to safety.     However,  it  is  necessary  to  observe the  caution items  in  this manual  when
using the robot.
[Installation and Adjustment] 2. Provide a fixed safety fence to form a boundary to the work envelope and warning indications to make sure that a person does not carelessly enter into the safety
fence.
3. In order to ensure safety, input power supply, installation, handling, wiring, teaching, inspection and maintenance, repair and transportation works, manufacture of
robot  system  and  disposal  of  industrial  waste  shall  be  performed  by  persons  who
thoroughly  understand  the  robot  or  who  are  qualified  according  to  your  company
standards and applicable law and/or regulation.
4. The  grounding  path  resistance  shall  not  exceed  0.1  ohm  when  measured  from  the grounding  means  of  the  equipment  to  the  conductine  part  that  is  required  to  be
grounded. Please consult us when any equipment which generates noise, such as high
frequency generator, is installed near the robot.
[Operation and Teaching] 5. In order to ensure safety, operation of the robot shall be performed by operators who thoroughly understand this manual and have knowledge and skill to control and operate
the robot safe and properly.
6. Make   sure   to   wear   a   helmet   before   conducting   robot   operation,   inspection   or maintenance work. 7. Use caution especially on safety when conducting teaching operation.    Operation shall be  performed  by  two  operators.    One  operator  shall  be  positioned  in  front  of  the
controller  so  that  the  operator  can  press  the  emergency  stop  button  immediately  in
case  of  emergency  while  the  other  operator  is  working  on  the  teaching  operation.
Operators  shall  pay  attention  to  the  movement  of  any  peripheral  equipment  while
working on teaching operation.
[Operation] 8. Perform safety inspection daily at the initial start-up.   (1) Check the motions of safety fence and plugs.
  (2) Check the motions of robot and peripheral equipment.
  
(3) Check the function of emergency stop buttons.
9. Never enter into the robot work envelope during automatic operation.
[Inspection and Others] 10.    Turn   off   the   power   switch   at   the   power   distribution   box   before   performing   the maintenance and inspection work.
