－ 5－1 － Chapter 5. Connection 5-1.  Connecting the manipulator to the controller Connect the connecting cables drawn from the controller to the manipulator. (1)   Insert male receptacle to the female plug. Be sure to connect the correct side. (2)   Hold the cable with one hand and match the key orientation and then insert it. Then screw the screw gently until it gets tight. Then push the cable once again to
complete (3)   Never screw the screw forcibly. Otherwise, part of the connection may be deviated which, as a result, may damage points in case that cable connection is performed
with wrong setting of key orientation or wrong connection side (male and female). (4)   Be sure to fix the hook handle completely. ｛ Robot manipulator and controller ｛ The absolute origin of the robot manipulator (robot position control origin), which forms
a pair with the controller, is stored in the memory element of the controller. For that
reason, a production number of the corresponding controller is labeled on the robot
controller.
Make sure to use the designated pair. CAUTION Gently rotate it by hand (clockwise) Hold the cable and insert it to the end.
