turbances in the power feed line. These over voltage peaks are lead out in the
PE-wire. Therefore, an earth leakage circuit breaker can not be used as standard. According to European standard it is not necessary to use a earth leakage circuit
breaker in the power feed line for industrial use. However, some customers local
regulations demands this solution.
As standard, in XRC, the center point of the star connected transformer is con-
nected to PE (protective earth). Leakage current is average 100 mA which makes
the earth leakage circuit breaker trip.
When it is necessary to use an earth leakage circuit breaker, the connection bet-
ween the centre point and the PE must be removed.
The changes does not affect the function of MOTOMAN XRC. Remove Remove L1 L2 L3 PE
