Final Robotic Tooling Solutions
Final tooling solutions include two distinct types of tooling:
- End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT)
This kind of tooling connects to the end of the robot arm and is used to manipulate the part. Examples of this tooling include grippers, suction cups, pliers, welding torches, etc.
- Fixed Tooling
Stationary tooling is used to position a part so the robot can reach and manipulate it. Manual clamps and rigid steel framing are examples of this type of tooling. RobotWorx creates prototype tooling, a temporary kind of tooling, to use during the training and initial robot programming.
