The six-axis Motoman CR3 is a compact robot with a small footprint and a fast cycle rate. With a 3kg payload, it is capable of fabrication and handling in a cleanroom situation. It is approved for class 1 clean standards and designed for clean environments.

The CR3 features 3 build-in channels to keep dust and dirt from penetrating the clean environment. Six degrees of freedom help the CR3 handle workpieces that would present a challenge to 2 or 3 axis robots. This high degree of freedom is useful for handling wafer cassettes, hard disk drives, and small LCD's.
