The dual robot, AW6200, workcell is designed for medium to high volume production. The AW6200 features two Motoman UP-series arc welding robots, XRC 2001 controller, integrated welding package, a "Ferris wheel" positioner, operator interface, and common platform for programming. The "ferris wheel" positioner allows the robots to be welding on one side of the positioner while the operator can load and unload parts on the other.
In compliance with ANSI/RIA R15.06-1999 safety standards, this total safety environment features dual-channel safety-rated, tamper-resistant interlocks, complete barrier guarding, single point of operator control, and dual channel light curtains.
